these works were recorded during june and july of 2008, can be seen as a protest music as well as personal exile declaration against china communist-affiliated china kuomingtang party a.k.a. kmt regime of chinese taipei. i didn't ever recognize so-called "chinese taipei" as homeland. this name sounds silly. there was called taiwan once. if beijing takes it over, i'll never go back.
nowadays, arrogant chinese tourists can go everywhere in taiwan and be treated like any foreigners from civilized country. coming out for acclaiming taiwanese identity is, however, more difficult than same thing gays/lesbians do since american dr. ma ying-jeou became "president" of "republic of china". due to theory of silence spiral, fear of chinese short-range ballistic missiles and stock market, most of voters swallowed ma's lies; after ma became head of "state", everything has forced draw near to china. nothing sucks than it when seeing ma's lady-killing smile on tv. ma is neither presley nor beckham, but always a good-son of chinese imperialism. so do his butter ministry.
since last june, kmt regime of taipei agitated its following to boycott japan products after japan coast guard warns taiwanese motorboats not to reach japanese waters. hong kong-based activists and kmt-supported thugs tried to provoke japan goverment for senkaku islands' dominium. in fact, it makes no fuck. "president" of "republic of china" is handsome(especially on tv), more than any gigolo in midnight japanese downtowns, but actually doesn't make any sense, either. as long as taiwan strait can keep its safe status for routine sea-lane, taiwanese people(mostly investors of stock, funds and foreign exchange... rest are coach potatoes, younger ones surfing on net) only want an all-night-long well sleep, even if only tonight. but elites in taipei don't think so. all they want is to squeeze common people living in mid and southern land, break down the stock market, gulp expensive french wine, buy big limousines or monster 4x4s and so on. finally, when dark night comes, they're already grab their green cards and onboard to america. they're not taiwanese. they don't care what taiwanese suffer during these couple of years at all, because they're ipso-facto american, canadian, aussies blah blah blah.
every time i read political forums on taiwan's internet, i always wonder what will be next when beijing prohibit taipei to celebrate "national day(of rep. of china)" on october 10th right this year(2008). over one century ago, except some high-intellectuals, most members of kmt were bandits, and now vermin. in the very beginning, their only reason to do revolutions was not like america or france, but more similar to latin-america. they want to plunder from landlords and nobles, burn off all things and be new lords. after success of 1912's revolution, local military didn't get "right" rewards, and soon rouse rebillions. sun yat-sen, leader of kmt, devoted himself in christianity, later marxism after he stay in london. however chiang kai-shek fucked all sun's sovietize dream off, put just-unitified china into a bigger turmoil, and let sun cough more blood, finally made sun to death of indignity. so sun didn't ever be lenin of china. chairman(man on the throne) mao tze-tong once showed his ambition to finish sun's will, but finally became the greatest emperor(as well as homicide) in chinese history. no historian can deny this fact, even chinese one. so chinese can make up their history to make leaders happy. a better tomorrow for them is made of 100% pure opium. none of it do i want. i decided to leave taiwan and finally chose making music as a way of expression and resist all those clichés and absurdity of pan-sinica world. at least, this 3-hour-over composition shows an attitude of requiem, for kmt and fictionary country "republic of china(without people)".
real peace only appear when china vanished from the earth. trust no one who talking about peace without showing his revealed hand.
let me stand like a man.
