今天出門時，外面攝氏零下十幾度，冷空氣讓人的每一口呼吸都顯得猶豫不決。但是一通電話，一個預報可能的喜訊，卻讓我整個人都跟著興奮了起來。謝謝你的越洋分享。

On the way to school, I always grasp one Metro paper to read in case spending too much time waiting without doing anything. As usual, today I took paper and found one news’ title attracting my attention. It is “This man gave away a Nobel Prize.”

I know. It has been a week since I came back boston from conferences. However, since then I am too busy and don't really get any time to stop by my blog. Now, I am taking some time break so I think I should write something here.
I attended two conferences in a row. Yes. one followed by another, so it took me two weeks. Originally, I was very excited just because I would have a break from my stressful new life. However, they turned out to be very nice conferences. Everday, I was eager to sit in the meeting room to see what people present. During the break, I started to try talking with people. Sigh, it's still so difficult for me to do this networking thing. I am way too shy. :(
Attending conference surely comes with vacation, especially in such a conference. Luckily, some friends of mine invited me joining their one day trip to the Rocky Mountain National Park so that I got to get some frresh air. It's nice to have this trip just in between two conference and it did energize me for another week at least. Besides, I am the one who likes mountains a lot and the view on the Rocky is really georgeous. I really enjoyed the trips on the mountain. Thanks, guys.
These two weeks are filled with fun and learning and I enjoyed the whole time.

I quite enjoy jogging. It is not for healthy reason but just like its simpilicity. Also, I like exploring the environment by running around. Running for me seems to be a good indicator. I won't run along the street until I have certain sense about the area and am mentally settled. After that, I always go out for a run more often for a couple of time to explore the area I live. After getting certain familiarity with the area, I will become lazy going out again and it might be the time to move again. :P
These days, I only walk around the south end but not running. Yesterday, I decided giving a try to run. So I run down the Massachusetts Ave to the Charles River. In the begining, I am quite surprised that I only saw a few people running. However, this situation changes dramatically while I got to the Charles River. Along the River, many people ran, young, elder, male and female. It's really amazing to see many people running and it somewhat encourages me keep running. However, I probably don't run for a long time, so I wouldn't really run well, even not long at all. It ended up with jogging from harvard bridge to boston university bridge. Ha, it's quite short but I felt so excited to run along the river and I belive that I will be back running soon. Well, not quite probably, because I will be away but I will be back. :)

I have been looking for an apartment for a while and found that it is certainly not an easy task. The case is even worse in boston. However, sometimes, checking the information online might give me a big surprise, which spices this long and boring searching process. For example, I never thought that applicants need to answer tons of questions in order to compete a space. The following is one example, which is from craigslist. I really wonder how many people will fill out the survey though. Let's see part of her posting.
