Last Wednesday we went to Armed Forces Museum. Inside the museum there were shirts, plates, guns, swords and medals. These things are very expansive. Long time ago there was a school called "Whampoa Military Academy". People from there were very poor. They didn't have enough money to buy guns, swords and shirts. They only wore one shirt and straw shoes. One day, Whampoa school's army fought with Japanese. They died many people but they won. The scientists dug out weapons at Whampoa. The Whampoa fought with the warlord. The warlord were bad Chinese but Whampoa won the fight again. After they had financial resource, they bought weapons and shirts. Whampoa helped Chinese people united as one China. We need to thank them.

Last Sunday my mom took Mathew and I to Far Eastern shopping mall. My mom said, "you two can go inside by yourself." I was happy because we could go wherever we want to go. My mom said, "I will wait here." Me and Mathew went to the toy store, we saw Thomas the train. We wanted to buy it but we couldn't effort it. After the toy store, we went to the food court. Food there were very yummy so we ran to my mom and beg her. I said, "we want to eat some food." My mom said, "OK". She gave me one hundred dollar to buy food and we were very surprised. I bought a bowl of rice to eat and we were full. I used the rest of fifty dollar to buy the toy train for Mathew and went to look for my mom. We went to the clothing store and saw my mom was buying a shirt for me and Mathew. We were happy because we have a good mother.

I like to live in Taipei city because Taipei city's people don't need to grow vegetables. It's very convenient. We can make money easily in the city and we could buy everything you want to buy in the city, for examples, toys, paper, pencils, erasers and maker pens. I like to live in the city because we can buy something everywhere. We can eat something in the restaurant. The city's food is many and water is plenty, too. We will not be hungry every day and will be full every day because there are someone who grows rice and vegetables. Living in a city is more convenient than living in the country. The city is convenient everywhere. It is very good place to be. The city has doctors, teachers etc. They can help us when we have any question.
