Friday evening, we were all excited about the "potjie" that Eben is going to make for us for dinner. His sister came to visit him for a week from U.K.
We went to Leza's around ten. Chatted a little bit, had some snacks. 11pm, we finally got to have our supper--potjie. Eben didn't know how I love this dish. This time, he put some more sauce in the pot, extra chillies for sure. It was great. Sauce is thick and we could hardly taste the wine. I asked him how much will he charge to make a pot and he answered not much. Even Caleb said it's really baie lekker. Really felt like South Africa~! ^^
Saturday, we taught during the day. A couple of South African friends came to visit us from China. We met in the Turkish Restaurant on Dong-fong Rd. They are both good people. We enjoyed their company a lot. Belinda went back to South Africa in November, 2006. She had to leave at that time cause her cram school didn't pay tax for her. She was forced to go back to SA in a week time. She actually invited us to visit her in Pretoria the following month. But we couldn't, we had to travel with the family.
Anyways, she found her husband after she went back and immediately fell in love with an old friend whom she has konwn for 16 years. They got married right away and they went to teach in Chiang-ci, China. She is now pregnant with a girl for 5 months. I am so glad she brought all these good news. God obviously blessed her in a tremendous way which she wouldn't have thought about. Her words encourages me a lot. God is faithful. He never fails.
