Winter Solstice: December 21/22, 2007 /

The time has come for the solar light to increase north of the Equator. After the increasing hours of darkness since the Summer Solstice, we are ready for more light, more illumination. The winter is my favorite season because it's when we easily go into deep contemplation and consider all the things we've created and experienced since the spring. Meanwhile, since the Fall Equinox, we've been balancing our new creations and integrating them into our lives. Now we can consider how our creations are part of the collective field, how each action we take influences the whole. As it turns out, this year the potential to harvest our works during the fall was unusually strong. Less than two weeks ago, some of us experienced epiphany-like culminations of our work during the New Moon in Sagittarius. Seeing and feeling stunning truths about multidimensional reality within ourselves and around ourselves, some of feel like we're floating in childlike wonderment in a chaotic world. The culmination of Day Five in mid-November and the beginning of Night Five has ended up indicating such a radical shift in evolution that I need to first reflect on what has been going on this fall.

The 2007 Fall Equinox chart indicated that many of us would master co-creative processes with the divine realms; we could actually manifest the agendas revealed in the Mayan Calendar! Remember, creating by using the powers of the seasons is the easiest way to co-create with divine agendas, because higher dimensional powers are filtered into our dimension through the planets and seasonal cycles. I use the seasons as tools to detect movement in the higher realms. In my Equinox reading, I remarked that Pluto transiting the Galactic Center for the last time was going to blast open multidimensional gateways. As far as I can see with people, this has happened, and right now many of you are quite disoriented because this feels so new. For me, it feels like 3D reality is finally approaching normality. In my life, I've noticed that using various magical skills, such as visualizing the outcome I want, just works better than the usual old plodding 3D ways of getting the job done, so I do things that way; perhaps you do this as well.

In the Fall Equinox reading, I also noted that we could "accomplish extraordinary manifestations," and this has been true. Some of you might be finally making the perfect chocolate éclair, for others an amazing real estate deal, for others manifesting the love of your life. It doesn't really matter what you create; what matters is that you see that you have done it yourself and that you feel the joy. This winter season will be a time of wonderment for those who can realize their co-creative potential, your birthright. Of course, wonderment is contemplation, which offers us new confidence in our lives. We are beings who are meant to feel secure knowing that we deserve divine love and support. We are becoming children of the universe who are not afraid to ask for what we deserve. In case this sounds selfish, we deserve first and foremost a healthy environment in which we all serve each other in linked communities. When we co-create with divine sources, we function as just and loving beings that do not harm other forms of life. I will read the Winter Solstice chart as a map that explains how all humans can return to infusion within the divine mind because it is time. Then by better understanding our new co-creative skills, we can enhance these news ways and seek others of like mind.

First, we must reconsider the Sagittarius New Moon, which I said would "ignite a supernova of cosmic consciousness," and it did! For example, the American neo-cons have been openly planning to attack Iran unless Iran would grovel and do anything the US wanted. This struggle represents the crux of nuclear technology abuse since the Second World War, when the US became the biggest abuser of nuclear weaponry on the planet. Since then, the US has held the biggest nuclear arsenal, which has caused the death of many people from nuclear pollution. Meanwhile, the US says it is the good guy that seeks democracy, and then anybody it doesn't like who gets the technology is the bad guy, such as Iran . Then the US gets to attack the bad guy when its in the mood. The whole world watched the US get stuck in the Iraq War by claiming that the bad guy had "weapons of mass destruction," but these weapons were in the US ! The whole world knew that the neo-cons were planning the same fate for Iran . Then just before and during the New Moon in Sagittarius, a new assessment by US intelligence agencies pulled the rug out from under the Bushites by revealing that Iran had halted its nuclear arms effort in 2003, which Bush/Cheney obviously knew. The US just got intercepted, and the tide has turned in the whole world! What is going on?

The cosmic forces-representing the War in Heaven-have now successfully overwhelmed the warlike forces on the planet, and those working for peace and reconciliation, such as Iran , are getting stronger. In the Fall Equinox reading, I noted that the big changes are happening in the collective now, and all we have to do as individuals is to surrender. This is turning out to be true, and I find it very reassuring. For example, I've noticed that individuals are gaining more and more latitude in their lives when the collective forces release control. I've also noticed there is an interesting waveform in my life-one day is ecstatic, and then the next one feels limited. Still, by the end of the week, I've really gotten somewhere-even though I may feel like I spent the day in a traffic jam or on a crowded beach. People are reporting to me that they are doing things now that they used to do 20-40 years ago. Some say they feel like they are being called to perfect, honor, and complete old creations, which is really fun. So, keeping in mind the potent fire ignition that has been occurring since the New Moon in Sagittarius, let us consider the intense formulation energy that comes in when we shift from Sagittarius into Capricorn.

This Winter Solstice is unusually Capricornian, which will feel very dense after the intense ignition of Sagittarian fire. When the Sun moves into Capricorn, Pluto is still in late Sagittarius and will go into Capricorn in late January. Jupiter moved into Capricorn December 18, and Mercury moved into Capricorn on December 20. Pluto, the Sun, Jupiter, and Mercury therefore are in a stellium of less than three-degree separation, a grouping that causes us to take major notice. Translation: The most intense transformative forces on the Galactic Center (Pluto) are working with the greatest manifestation potential (Sun), the greatest possible expansion of co-creative powers (Jupiter), and our minds (Mercury) to comprehend the structural mechanics of the new galactic fire. In this purified and intensified field (like in a nuclear reactor), the more you've cleansed lying, laziness, and deception from your life, the more you can accomplish. Meanwhile, the collective systems are polluted with unethical and evil patterns and they are weakening. Capricorn's essence is integrity, deep honesty, and strength, and during critical leap moments, this greater potential is unleashed in a whirlwind of divine force.

Naturally, as the greatly compromised collective forces collapse and fall, it feels like the unleashing of the Four Horses of the Apocalypse. Well, their tethers are untied, but who says it is necessarily the worst thing for you? Granted, navigating this field will be like Dorothy and the Tin Man in the tornado. This Oz tornado is deftly expressed in the sky by Mars retrograde in Cancer exactly opposing the stunning stellium in Capricorn. What does this mean? First of all it means that the great goddess is the one taking actions now, not the great god of war, Mars. When Mars is in Cancer every two years, he is forced to remember that he is also a son and must honor his mother, and he thinks of his partner as his consort and not a female to just be used up for pleasure. He can stop conquering for a while and nurture. This year, Mars is in Cancer for eight months instead of the usual two-month transit because Mars has retrograded while in Cancer. As I've already indicated, the big Mars-in-Cancer transmutation is occurring in the USA 1776 chart with four planets in Cancer-Venus, Jupiter, Sun, and Mercury-and then George Bush's Sun is conjunct the USA Sun in Cancer. Simply put, Mars retrograde in Cancer is unleashing the great goddess to make changes in the USA . Nothing will stop her during the winter season with Mars in Cancer opposite the Capricorn stellium during the Winter Solstice. And, during the Solstice, Mars is exactly conjunct Venus in Cancer in the USA chart! It is about time to remember that the Statue of Liberty is the goddess greeting all who come to America . How can you handle this huge force personally? Nurture yourself, nurture others, and console yourself while the Blue Meanies are being exposed. No matter how much they panic and deny what they do, everybody can see they will eventually disintegrate.

I know that some astrologers gnash their teeth because I make such outrageous statements all the time. I'd like to address that issue. The reason I go so far out on a limb is because I use much more information than just astrology. I use the Calleman system as a backdrop to the end of the Mayan Calendar in 2011/2012 [see The Mayan Code: Time Acceleration and Awakening the World Mind], and I also use the "Metonic Cycle of the Fifth World", a Pleiadian cycle that I discovered when I wrote The Pleiadian Agenda: A New Cosmology for the Age of Light in 1995. The Metonic Cycle tracks our emotional and soul unfolding, while The Mayan Code interprets our inexorable evolutionary path. I find that astrology reveals many day-by-day patterns within these larger cycles, and that these patterns become revelatory when examined in light of the Mayan Calendar and Metonic Cycle. We moved into the Tenth House of the Metonic Cycle of the Fifth World on December 19, 2007 , when our full emotional powers will be available to us through August 22, 2009. This transition occurred when the lunar North Node moved into Aquarius on December 19, when our feelings dominate physical and collective powers. With an open heart, each one of us can master evil forces. I will quote the description of this transition from The Pleiadian Agenda, since the previous nine houses since March 14, 1994 , have turned out to be very accurate predictors of evolving emotional fields.

Tenth House ( December 19, 2007 to August 22, 2009) "I want to know what is my role in the Age of Aquarius. A new world is forming, and it is a world based on individuality that gathers its expression together and forms a whole. Things that are not valued simply shapeshift into other desired forms, and you realize that if you don't value yourself, you will transmute into something else. Your mate or your children will not be there if you forget your wonder in their presence, and there will be no flowers in your garden without your admiration. One day you realize that there are transfigured humans all over the planet who have cleansed Gaia and resonate with the new growing lifeforms. The whole planet is beautiful! …All of your life, you will be in synchronicity with all your other brothers and sisters. You will link mentally with them at solstices and equinoxes, as well as follow the Moon and the sacred calendars with them. But, otherwise you will be in the now, deeply involved with those with whom you live. Global communications will not be the Net-horror stories that shut you down and cause you to ignore Earth. Instead, there will be global ceremony that creates new realities." (p. 268-269)

In the Winter Solstice chart, Mars retrograde in Cancer sextile the lunar South Node means the goddess will activate our wills based on our strengths from past experience. Mars trine the lunar North Node means the goddess will show us the way into the Age of Aquarius. To understand this better, of course we have to look to the Moon. The Moon is in 5 Gemini in a potent quincunx to Pluto, Sun, Jupiter, and Mercury. This tells us that our emotions will be the driver of the new potent manifestations coming in; this is a very active power because it is diverse and far-reaching in Gemini. Gemini can be scattered, but not in this case, because the aspects to the Capricorn stellium are so strong. This is like a brilliant and totally just grandmother who finally says, "It is enough, now do it this way!" This quincunx from the Moon means our feelings will be there to manifest the Solstice stellium, and remember the stellium is close to the Galactic Center !

As if the Moon were not enough evidence for the strong presence of the goddess this winter, even Venus in Scorpio is there to enhance feminine powers! Venus in 20 Scorpio trines Uranus in 15 Pisces. Uranus in the middle degrees of Pisces is revealing and transforming the true nature of our spiritual traditions, and Venus in Scorpio deepens this process. Neptune , the planet that rules spirituality, is in 20 Aquarius exactly squaring Venus in 20 Scorpio. This means intense pressure to melt opposition to the reception of the goddess this winter; she will tend to get her way with persistent and subtle methods. Probably, many of you do not read as much as I do in Hebrew, Christian, and Arabic spirituality. I keep careful track of these fields, and what has been going on is very exciting. In all three great world religions, the lies superimposed on the original teachings are being rigorously stripped away. More and more members of these religions are getting access to the true esoteric teachings, and the current exoteric shell that has been used to control people and entice them into warfare is being stripped away. The closer we get to the core esoteric teachings, the more we can see that all three of the great religions are actually based on the same universal and ancient truths.

The more that people communicate directly with each other, the more they can circumvent big control forces in government and in the churches. For example, I noted in The Mayan Code that President Ahmadinejad of Iran will end up being a great spiritual leader because he was elected on the day of the apex of the Galactic Underworld: June 2, 2005 . Well, Ahmadinejad runs a blog in Persian, Arabic, English, and French (www.ahmadinejad.ir) where he spars and chats with admirers and detractors. All this breaks down the duality and brings us closer to peace. Still, for such great changes to occur in our world, Saturn has to be a big player, and he is this winter. Old father time retrograded at 9 Virgo just a few days before the Winter Solstice on December 19. His retrograde motion will be very intense during the winter, causing deep changes on the inside; then these changes will become visible publicly in early May, when he goes direct at 2 Virgo.

When Saturn is in Virgo every 29 years, the pressure is on to pare away nonessentials, excoriate things that are out of integrity, and create new systems and techniques that improve our current reality and pave the way into the future. This has certainly been going on since Saturn went into Virgo in September 2007 just before the Fall Equinox. Where the cleanup is the most visible is in banks and the housing market, which are also being heavily impacted by Mars in Cancer for eight months. I do not think the liquidity crisis is going to go away, and readers who are worried about their money should observe very closely what goes on when Jupiter enters Capricorn on December 18; when Mercury goes into Capricorn on December 20; and when the Sun goes in December 21/22. Whatever looks shaky during those ingresses into Capricorn will probably explode in late January when Pluto moves into Capricorn on January 25, 2008 , followed by Mars going direct on the USA Mars on January 30, 2008 .

Despite this rather serious and gloomy financial prognosis, aspects to Saturn suggest that new ways to run the world and our lives are going to just pop into place. The new manifestation tools from the Capricorn stellium will be accessible because Saturn trines the stellium. Healing and new visions will come forth because Saturn quincunxes Chiron in Aquarius. The necessary spiritual transformations will be in the spotlight because Saturn widely opposes Uranus in Pisces. People will realize that our spiritual systems are important for guidance during difficult times, and they will demand that their own religion provides this for them. Our feelings are going to be so important this winter with the Moon in Gemini squaring newly retrograde Saturn. Think how often a major conflict gets resolved because people just stop arguing and say, "This is how I feel." It breaks the ice every time and the goddess is good at it. To top it off, Mars sextiles Saturn, which means nurturance will be available as we create new structures deep within our souls. There are a lot of close aspects to Saturn; thus, this will be a winter to remember for sure.

It's fair to say that the Winter Solstice chart is a forecast for a deeply meaningful and stressful winter. If ever there was a time to just slow down and feel your way, it is now. There is nothing to be really worried about because the evolutionary progression is so intense; all you can do is surrender to it and find new ways to create. But, remember, the time to bring forth new creations will be during the 2008 Spring Equinox. So for now, take the time to reflect on all that has happened with your own intentions during the previous Spring Equinox, as well as the great changes of Day Five of the Galactic Underworld. Some of you may be surprised to realize that you actually did manifest something you intended in the spring, and you may have noticed the potent energy behind this during the summer and fall. The more you can understand the meaning of what you're creating, the more you will see what must come next. For now through the winter, just be with yourself. Happy Winter Solstice 2007!
